This year has been really slow for our business and we were thinking it would be slim for Christmas, but we were making gifts and that should be good. Then some family members sent money for the kids Christmas gifts. What a blessing!!
So yesterday we went down to Tulsa and got some gifts for the kids, along with some new winter clothes. We first went to Best Buy, which happens to be my boys' - all 3 - favorite place to go look around. As Brook distracted the kids with the new games, I got each boy a DS game and Mel a pack of movies.
Then off to the mall we went. We love to look at all the decorations and hear the Christmas music, but to our disappointment there was little of either going on. The most decorations was the Santa section, but the kids did enjoying seeing that part and as we were looking around it they started up the fake snow. Even the Christmas store had a lack of Christmas music. Weird!
I managed to get books and games at the mall without anyone knowing what I was up to :o) And then we went to Target and got winter clothes and stocking stuffers.
We had a great day, just the 5 of us. But several times, Daddy did say he was ready for #6 :o) Especially as we saw baby clothes and got gifts for our 2 nephews and 1 niece who are 3 years old and the babies are both about 7 months.
