It has been busy around here!!!!!!
The end of April brought Brook's 28th birthday :o) We had a great day as a family playing games and watching movies. The next day was Alex's 8th birthday. It is hard to believe that my oldest baby is 8 years old. Where did the time of diapers and bottles and pacifiers and sleepless nights go? It doesn't seem possible that Alex can be 8 now.
Both Brook and I have noticed him growing up more and more. He id not dependent on us for so much anymore. Don't get me wrong seeing this change in our lives has been amazing, but I miss cuddling with my sweet little guy! On Alex's birthday we had eclair pie for both Daddy and Alex and spent the day playing games, watching movies and going to the park. The next day was Saturday and my mom came up bringing Alex's new bike :o) He was thrilled. Brook and I got to go on a date that night for his birthday and then we all went to Nana's house for birthday cake.
Through the next several days we were praying for our little nephew to join the family. Due on April 25th.... by that Monday we were all waiting the phone call that said my sister in law Harmonie had gone into labor. And so we waited.... and waited.
On Tuesday , Harmonie went in with contractions only to be sent home :o( oh boo... no baby yet. But come Wednesday morning we got a text message that said her water broke :o) YAY for babies!!!!! We spent that whole day in prayer and back and forth on the phone with Popi to see if the little baby had made it here yet.... nothing! We went to bed that night with no new baby in the family. But while the world rested our sweet Harmonie worked! And at 10am Thursday morning Asher Wyatt came into this world! At a whopping 8lb.s 5oz. and 20 inches long! A big boy!!!!
Also Thursday morning, while we awaited Harmonie's call, I got another text message from my best friend and sister at heart, Melanie. She was due to have a scheduled C-section on May 14th... after I got to New York to take care of Noah. She was in the hospital in labor! Another baby and Momma to be praying for!!! At 3:30pm I got the news! Lil' Miss Lacie Anne joined the party too. At 6lbs. 8oz. and 19 inches and a head full of hair!
During all this praying for babies, we found out a dear sweet girl we just love, also due in May was in labor! Hahahaha - 3 babies one day???? Yep at around 8pm that night Lindon James joined the birthday party!!! Another big 8lb boy!!!!
And so that night we rested in the privileged of being able to pray for and see the fruit of our prayers with 3 healthy babies and mommies.
And now today my sweet Tylor is 7. Hard to believe, but they are all growing up so very fast. With all these babies being born I did a lot of thinking about when I had my babies! Amazingly enough Alex was 9lbs. 8oz and 23 inches and 12 months and 2 weeks later Tylor was 6lbs. 2oz. and 17 inches long!!!!!
Thank you God, for letting me have my babies, watch them grow and see the people You are creating in them!
Oh yeah... I mentioned rain in all this! We had horrible rain and flooding this past couple of weeks! So much for riding his new bike :o) Our house has withstood pretty well, although the garage flooded the first day. But a life was lost here in Pryor and there is more rain to come. Please be praying for the safety of those effected by this rain!

Sorry to hear of the flooding.
Sounds like all other things are very happy in your world, though.
It is amazing how quickly time goes by with our children, isn't it?
