Harmonie's Wedding

My sister in law got married last weekend. This was a ton of fun and stress. As I was the wedding planner and maid of honor. Harmonie and J are both stationed in Germany in the Army, so needless to say they did not do a lot for the wedding. They got here Monday night, after a 14 hour flight and 2 1/2 hour drive. On Tuesday My brother in law Kirk and his girlfriend Arielle got here. They flew from Maine and then took a 10 hour bus ride from Napa (really should have only taken about 5 hours, but they went to Oakland twice and after 5 hours got to Santa Rosa. My sister in law Hollie drove up from L.A. on Thursday while my sister in law Heather and her husband James drove down from Seattle. Also that night most of us went to see Indiana Jones, while Harmonie and J drove down to Redding to get his parents. His parents, Ida and Carol, flew from Nebraska to L.A. and missed the connecting flight. They spent about 8 hours in L.A. and finally got a flight to Redding (only 6 hours from here). So come Friday we are all tired already :) Friday morning Melodey and I took my 3 sister in laws and Arielle out for breakfast. We had a great time chatting it up as girls who never see each other do :) Then we had the rehearsal over at the park and then a BBQ at Popi's house (that is my father in law), while more family came from all over creation :) Saturday was the wedding. Brook, Kirk, James and their cousin Sherred went to the park and set it all up. Those boys did wondefully :) The park looked great and there were only a few hicups. Hollie went with Harmonie to get her hair done, while Heather and I went to the park to put some girly touches on the set up. The wedding was to start at 1 but the bride and groom were both late :) hahahaha Always in this family. So we had the wedding at 1:45pm. It was beautiful. We had a great time with this small close net family setting. There was 35 people who came and it went great. After the wedding some extended family went out to dinner with the 2 sets of parents and Brook and I took our children and their cousin Josiah home with us for a slumber party :) The 6 of us slept like logs :) hahaha.

Sunday was church and most of the family joined us while Harmonie and J brought his parents to the airport and then left for their honeymoon in Iraland. We then we out to lunch where we said good bye to most everyone else. That afternoon and night we spent at Popi's house playing the X Box 360 and Wii. Kirk, Arielle, Hollie and Sharred all left Monday morning. I will post pictures when I can get Photobucket working :)
